Well, I’ve definitely got one interesting topic so far.

If you haven’t heard already, the South-African female who won the recent 800 m gold medal has been declared a hermaphrodite. This is probably the first time this has ever happened in sports so the IAAF are going to award her her gold, and possibly give the runner up a gold as well. Because of all this scrutiny, the runner has appeared on the cover of a popular magazine in very feminine clothing, including braclets and painted nails. To me, she looks very much like a man though. Definitely weird.

As the school year starts again, so does the hazing. There have been at least 3 cases so far of hazing happening in high schools, two of which were in Alberta. Gee, go figure. I’m glad that they are taking a zero tolerance stance on this situation, it’s about time bullies got what they deserved. Granted I was one when I was in elementary school, but these teens know better. I’m surprised to see that there is no reports of hazing from the university/college level…maybe they’re just better at hiding it.

I just had myself saying “No Way.” Apparently Ellen Degeneras is the newest judge on American Idol. This is preposterous. She’s going to be so stupid and end up trying to outshine the performers. Bad choice Fox. I do not feel like commenting further this is such an outrage. Bring back Paula.
